you can get em from dealer .. but they are expensive as hell
or you can just wait till someone sells theirs on the org.

The 2001 SE AE engine cover lists for about $117.00 for a typical dealer and that does not include the mounting hardware. If you are going to get everything new, check with DaveB from the .ORG who works at a Nissan dealer or with any other more well-known dealer that the folks here work with as they can usually offer the cover for around $100.00. Again, be sure to get the mounting hardware too.

I was thinking about getting the cover too, but that is a lot of money to pay for a piece of plastic, so I gave up on it. And I rather have the engine open as much as possible for better cooling.

Peace.

You can go to this eBay link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tegory=6400#MI

and go to the listing of pictures. There is one shot of the engine bay with the cover on it.

Peace.

Engine covers are highly over-rated. I had to laugh when we bought my wife's Odyssey and the sales guy had the audacity to pop the hood. All I could say was " that's one of the biggest engine covers I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of powerful engine covers". Like most salesmen, he didn't get the joke.

I bought mine for about $100 from Dave B. on the org. He is great to deal with. Personally it isn't worth the money if you have a stock engine bay that won't ever be seen, but if you have other mods and the hood is open a lot, it is a nice finishing piece and cleans up the engine bay nicely. Just my 2 cents.

i think its overrated... it just traps the heat emitting from the engine.

Mike, do i see dirt on the top of your radiator??? I think its time to get the kid to do some more manual labor.
