I know, big deal right? 227hp (217 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm) vs. 215hp (218 ft-lbs. @ 3800 rpm). But it was my first race in my new Max. A "richard" in a brand new IS 300 was being, well, a complete "richard" in traffic cutting people off left and right as I was headed for the highway on-ramp on my way home from work tonight. We get to the final light before the ramp and we wind up side-by-side at the line. He starts revving his engine. I start thinking about that scene from "Meet the Parents" and start laughing to myself. He thinks I'm laughing at him and flips me off. I start laughing harder as the light turns green and sucked his front end right off his chassis (just a bit of an exaggeration, but hey, like I said it was my first race). Beat him to the ramp and said buh-bye, telling him in my own way that he was "number 1".

Mmm-mmm-good (*burrrrp*)

Normally I'm not one for street racing but good kill! Especially since you mentioned the meet the parents scene. I love Ben Stiller...

Good kill, particularly satisfying if it's against Richard Cranium.

I know I'm in the minority, but I hated that movie, I didn't think it was funny at all...

Not just any Toyota... a Toyota Corolla.

Jane97SE's little brother thought his car was all that... until he raced an auto AE on the street. Let's just say he saw the ugly tail lights.

No mods that he can see. Doubt he had an intake because it would've been pretty loud.

I don't street race, but I burned an IS on the hiway shortly after getting my Max (auto). I pulled away pretty strongly until catching up to traffic in front, hitting about 110 mph. Those cars handle excellent and are at home in the twisties, but are no match for us at hiway speeds. Manual next year will be niiice!!
