How did you achieve the blue? I much prefer blue. I was going to color the bulbs that shine down on the shifter.

Actually, i took out the factory bulbs, and they already had a blue "condom" on them, same with the light that shines down on the shifter. I replace the shifter light with a 5mm jumbo blue led, and used 3mm 6000mcd leds for the climate control.
please check out my website for more pictures on this.

Looks good! My A/C unit now has a few bulbs burned out on the one side. I was thinking of adding this blue theme like yours, but was skeptical of the lighting output. Are those bright spots from the LED output? What did you use to get the bright "white" LCD look? Also, maybe, while you had the A/C unit apart, you should have replaced the bulbs underneath the bottom of the unit with some of your LED's. Here are some pics of mine.

Yeah, i already did that, but i didn't take clear shots of them. The TV was to bright for the camera to pick up the blue beam. but i did not do it the same way as you, like i said two/three posts ago, i replaced the light with a 5mm jumbo led, that works perfectly.

danimsta - got my leds off ebay... best ones you can get for the price. and yes... you need a resistor.

I just noticed that the hole for your tv monitor isn't straight. Looks a bit weird.

it is pretty much straight, but not completely. the pictures make it look worse then it is. when i did the tv, i had no previous knowledge on how to do stuff like that, and it was my first time. i did the best i could, and i do not think it came out bad at all for a first timer.

maybe if i feel like it down the road, i will try again, but there was so much work involved that i really never even want to look at the stuff again... not to mention it took up my entire vacation time to finish it.

thanks for pointing out my flaw..

what number of led's did i get? i am not sure what you mean... led's do not have part numbers, but if you mean the specs, then they are 6000mcd. you need 3 of them. very easy to do!

Well, the funny thing about the hazzard button is, if you unplug your hazzard button, your directionals will not work! so i had to leave it connected and tuck it into the back. i completly removed the cig lighter. i really didn't care about that, i never used it... and i broke it when i took it out. lol. and i did lose my change holder, which i miss out of everything. o well, it was a loss i am willing to take.

no, the lcd does not use a bulb. LCD = liquid crystal display. all you have to do is tape on a peice of a deep red celophane onto the display. red and green = white.

I was hopeful there for a second that you found a way to make the clock brighter, but more tint means it must be slightly darker. Oh well, time to cut the cable!

I can't tell from your pictures, but what size resistors did you use. Also, where did you soldier those resistors at? I was about to do the same thing with my climate control since one of my bulbs is burned out and change all 3 of them to blue leds. BTW, your setup looks great.

Whoa, this thread came back from the dead. lol.

well, to answer questions, the resistors vary from leds, but normally if you stick with 330 ohm, you will be good. you solder them to the positive leg of the led.

it took me about 2 hours to do the climate control, and about 10 mins to do the clock.

BL ASD - man... you have so many questions!!!! lol if you can't find any of the stuff, then i will mail you some. just paypal me what you think my services are worth. lol.

Well, I will just send you some of mine. PM me with your addy, and i will get it out this week for you.

as far as my car... it wasn't a big accident, but i am no longer happy with my car. I am thinking about just selling it after i get it fixed, sell all my mods, and just get a G35. I wouldn't be paying too much more then i am paying now. just thinking about it... not anything set in stone right now.

You need to remove the climate control unit, there is a bulb located underneath of the circutboard housing that shines on the shifter.

>>>>>>>>> ? + blue =white.

Could you please tell me where did you get the red cellophane? Is it something like this:

I asked you what color to mix with the blue color to get white ,like (? cellophane + blue =white).

I'm doing the gauge culster white ,so im thinking if i mix (?) color with the blue it will turn it in to white.
