Check out this problem.

If I am going at higher speed, then brake hard into a corner with the clutch in (basically car in netural), it seems that the fuel cuts off and the engine stalls.

I get this regularly at the end of a bunch of twisties near my house as there is a stop sign at the end of the road so I am stopping while in a curve. It has also happened on an exit ramp that turned fairly sharp. The engine just quits running.

Anyone else get this?

 

have the dealer check all wires to both your cam positioning sensor and crank positioning sensor

 

clean your throttle body, I was getting the same thing and it stopped after the cleaning. Also, clean it every once in a while to prevent it from happening again.

 

I will try these things.

I am seriously considering a 2004 Max....I wish I could get the Dark Blue with Tan Leather but they don't offer that combo.
