how can you pull codes

Just had car detailed and engine steam cleaned. Now my SES light is on and want to find out what it is without taking to dealership.

you have to have an odb2 scanner/tool. autozone does free diagnostics at least in nc if you dont want to pick one up.

I heard Autozone pulls codes for free. PepBoys had the OBD2 scanner for $99.99 for a while. I bought one. Well worth the investment.
