a friend who has an altima told me he flooded his distributor the other day when he washed his engine bay and then the SES light came on.
do we have a distributor in our maxs ? i have a 2001 gxe...

No, no distributor. We have direct ignition which means that individual coils sit on top of each spark plug. Therefore, no distributor and no ignition wires.
