Squeaky Clutch
Squeaky Clutch
I've noticed the past couple days that sometimes when i let the clutch out it makes a creaking/sqeaking sound. It's not consistant, sometimes it will do it other times it won't do it at all. Havent had a chance to check it out yet. Any ideas what it could be? My fluid is fine.
i get that noise sometimes altho i haven't for quite a while...mine will do it right near when the clutch is all the way in or letting up...i was told it is most likely the master slave cylinder that needs to be maybe greased but most likely replaced...which is not worth it due to extreme difficulty of install bc u have to take apart the clutch plus its expensive ...so turn up the stereo...don't worry everybody is looking at ur nice big rims anyways and won't notice the sound :-)
its not hard to repleace the master cylinder for the clutch, just 2 12mm nuts that hold the master to the pedal right around the firewall. Getting to those bolts is a pain in the a$$. Then you gotta remove the clutch line, and pull the sucker out. I just did all this on a 00 Maxima that I converted from a auto to a *6spd*.
