A/T check warning light at WOT from dead stop
A/T check warning light at WOT from dead stop
I guess that says it all....If i'm sitting at a dead stop and I stomp on the accelerator my A/T check warning flashes on a couple of times and then if I back off slightly it's ok. It seems like I get no immediate power off the line either.
If I take off a little slower and then stomp on it, she goes like there's no tomorrow.
I've always told the dealer the tranny in these cars suck, and they did replace a major part just to make me happy; but why would the A/T light be coming on?
I've blown a couple of MAF's and I'm affraid that may happen again. The A/T light comes on with others when you blow a MAF.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Trex

sounds too easy but ...traction control? My 6 speed doesn't have it but auto's do (some) The SLK32 AMG I had for a month flashed a lite on the dash when the traction control was on and also limited power. Thats what it sounds like to me.

It could be though....
With all the mods I have done, every little thing makes me wonder...
