taillight keeps going out

The taillight in my car went out a while back so I took it to the dealer. Cost me 200bux but they did not fix it. That was over a year ago and I read on the internet about someone just replacing their bulb and it fixed it. I replaced the bulb and it did not even work for 1 day. What could be causing this?

i'll sound like a dummy for saying this but..

i also had the same problem, and it turned out that i just didn't push the bulb in all the way (till i heard a click)....

same here...... Make sure the bulb clicks into the socket...otherwise it will work just until you hit a bump!!

probably twiddled their thumbs for a couple hours, had a beer, and charged you for 2 1/2 hours of labor.
