cai killing my car!

i juts installed my cai and when i raise the rpm up high, like during heavy acc, when i let the rpm drop it sits at about 700 and then kinda falls and rests at 500 after a second or so. and then the idle seems a lil bouncy, is this normal, it didnt do this before i put the intake on, anyone else have this problem?

It's normal, nothing to worry about. But you might want to clean your throtle body to make sure.

I have a 2002 and after installing mine, it went from 700rpm down to 600rpm. It goes up and down like you said but not that low.

That was the same deal with my 99 Accord when I installed my CAI. Other than that, it hasnt caused any problems in the several years I've had it installed.

Just have someone raise your idle rpm. It isn't a big deal.
