i have a 2002 max SE i want to change my headlight lenses to the black or carbon fiber with the red for brake lights and clear for the signal, i plan on making the signal blue or blue/white.... can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

You have tail lights in the subject line and you said headlight lenses in the actual post.
I'm assuming you want the 00-01 SE tail lights.
There are plenty of 00-01 members here that would LOVE to swap their tails for yours. Just post that you want to do a swap w/ someone in your area and you'll get a ton of replies.
I did that w/ my tails.

i also plan on changing the side markers, what color bulbs do you have in yours?

 

I have the stock orange turn signal bulbs. You can get chrome bulbs that flash orange as well. (i'm gonna do this soon)
All you gotta do is say the word for a taillight swap in NY area. Meet someone up in a parking lot and get to work!

I've got red bulbs in the rear corners and the hyperwhites up front.

I have the 2k-1 tails (the black ones) and I use a red bulb (painted with chrome enamel paint) in the turn signal, replacing the orange oem bulbs....you can order the red bulbs from www.lightlens.com (I think that's the address)..

 

i wonder what that redwith the chrome paint looks like when flashing... have any pics?

Here you go...as you can see, it's a pretty good match for the taillight color red....the bulbs I painted with a LIGHT coat of silver enamel dupli-color paint so they blend in when unlit...

 

exactly! the silver enamel paint is just so during the day you don't see the red bulb through the clear lens of the light.....when lit, the red light shines right through the enamel (as long as you don't put too thick a coat on it.) The enamel paint DOES make the bulb shine SLIGHTLY dimmer.....

btw, it's not "chrome" on the bulb, it's just silver paint!

damn irish those bulbs are bright, looks hot though. I always wondered what the tail lights would look like if they were painted to make the majestic blue of the car, the outside like the black u guys have... or maybe my sisters accord is just way to close to my maxima in the driveway....
