100K Miles On My Maxima

This past weekend, my Maxima went over the 100,000 mile mark. Crazy!

By this coming November, I will have had her for four years. She's been a great car so far with no major problems. I keep her regularly maintained, and have never had to bring her to the dealer for anything other than an ECU flash once to take care of the ole O2-sensor issue. I've never even had to bring her in for scheduled maintenance since I've done much of it myself. Fantastic car.

And this week I'll be sending out the last $1000 I owe Nissan for the car to pay her off early. Mmmmm...no more car payments for a while. Sweet.

Well, I hope my car lasts me for many more trouble-free years. My '93 old Civic DX went for about 239,000 miles before I traded her in, so I hope the Maxima can at least match that mark. We'll see.

Anyone else with over 100K?

Peace.

My max currently has 60.8 k miles... sad, considering my car is only two years old. I'm hoping my car will last me a lot longer, but who knows what'll happen since I drive like a maniac, some times.

I'm currently at 96,500 miles on my '01 A.E. This October will be 4 years and the only real issue I have is the catalytic converter which I 'm replacing this week.

Whoa! that's a lot of miles for a four year old. I got mine brand new in July of 01' and currently have 35k miles. You must done a lot of cross country driving on the car considering a four year old car.

What kind of cat are you going to be replacing it with? OEM or aftermarket? And if aftermarket, who makes it and where will you be getting it from? My max currently is at 76k miles. Bought in March of '01 with 34k miles.

Well my 5th gen is only at 32K but my 91 SE has over 180K does that count for anything?
