Going to get an oil filter to change the oil tonight...got the Mobil 1 already any special kind of oil filter i should be getting or just any ol one?? Let me know. Thanks alot.

 

i used the K&N but Mobil1 is so good who really cares? So i had a regular one put in. Shouldn't worry.

went with the mobil 1 filter as well... just did it for the first time...i put in 4 qts to start and it was a weird reading...was a prominent oil color on low level then light color above high level, i put in another half and let it be...how much oil do we use in the 01? hopefully 4.5!

 

my **** tells me that they're all the same....oh, but if you use the K&N oil filter, you can put a cool K&N sticker on your window Seriously, though - your oil filter isn't in there long enough for it to make a diff, IMO (at least if you change oil regularly)....

 

I use the Purolator Pure One, and Mobil1 5w30
