So i'm coming home last night and i stop next this whit BMW i'm not sure what model it was, but maybe an m5, like it was 4 door but kind of smallish. One of those sporty looking new ones. So anyway at green light the guy hits on the gas i'm like oh man this could be a race. I catch up to him on the next light and he starts to rev his engine. So i turn of my tsc, put the car into second and at green we hit the gas. We got up to 60 before the next red light hit and we stayed even. Then i realize i have my OD on, so i turn it off and at green we hit it again. I din't beat a guy by a mile but i beat him by like few inches. The toper the speed got the more i got infront of him. We went 2 more times and again both times i beat him by few inches. Third time i just let him go cuase i think i proved my point. My maxima is stock and after last night i can't wait to mod it. I'm so proud of my car.

i went to the bmw webiste and took a look at some of the models and i think ot was one of the 330's models, maybe 330i or 330 xi, i figured if i only beat it by few inches it has to be one of those with 225hp in them

ok...i don't think he was even trying.....even normal 5xx is faster than us....those are BMW..you'd lose if he was race-driving like you did

330i....about the same hp, same tq, and same weight as a 2k max....except the 330 has a MUCh better tranny and RWD. If he was really trying, he had a 325i or 318i.......those are the only BMW that a stock 2k automax can beat (and then just barely)

sorry, but it was not an M, or even a 330. a 5 speed 2000 would have it's hands full w/ a 330, and the 5 speed 2000 is a LOT faster than an auto.

 

Ahhh Hello M in your dreams... Man not even with mods you can stay close to an M3 I can imagine an M5. But if you did beat an M5, remeber to wake up after the fdream.... just kidding.....

525 is slower than an 00 Max. 530 is about even. 540 is way ahead. It was most likely a 325 or 328. Definitely not a 330.
