I do not think this is the maxx tuning lip. This looks like the ABS lip off ebay for 105 bucks.

No, that is the MT lip. There are only 2 lips available for the 2k2/2k3 Maxima's. Either the Sillen Classic Lip or the MaxxTuning lip.

Yep, its the MaxxTuning lip, thanks for the compliments. Got it form southwest auto works for $220. I was told to say that I'm an org member and I would get it for $200, but I honestly couldn't have been bothered. I was in a rush, i wanted it delivered before I got home from vacation, which it was, luckily. It was a bit dusty at first and the ends by where the wheels are were bit scuffed, but I am overall very happy with it. It was very easy to put on, just slid right on. I put one screw in the front of each fender, thats all. When I get it painted, I'll tell them to put it on the right way, with heavy-duty screws and tape, etc. I just wanted to get it on quickly. I've gotten complimented on it once already while I was in a best buy parking lot.

I know, I know, I need a drop, I wish it had went without saying. Its not going to happen for awhile, eibach springs and tokico illumina shocks are going to probably be the "christmas" mod. I'll also get the stillen rear vallence then too.

Please please know kinda what you're talking about before filling up space in this thread. Those ABS lips are white and not the black/grey color of polyurathane.

Thanks you,

the reason why there are air vents in the rear valence..
is
1. " looks "

but most importantly is for the air to freely flow from under the car..

those who have em .. will notice that the valence drops a little lower than the bumper and if the air vents were not there.. the air flow would push the valence and kinda slow u down.. and creat a "parachute effect"

You need the sides and rears of the Stillen aero kit. BTW, those moldings all around your car look like crap.

Thanks you,
I'm sorry, I made a mistake. Upon first glance last night it appeared a little different. Soory for wasting up the whole inch of space on this thread. If you were concerned about space on the thread maybe you should have PMed me if you had a problem. Thanks. And sorry again all.

Is it just me, or is the lip too high up after it wraps around the bumper and meets with the wheel well arch ? ABS lip looks pretty similar to the MT lip, I have it on my Maxima and fitment is really good. I need to have it painted just as well- I'm really really thinking of repainting the whole car Norago Blue - 00-02 Audi S4 color. Check out my Cardomain site- last page I have pictures of my ABS lip unpainted- I measured the bumper on each side to make sure I have it installed straight. Plus I do body Kits on Acuras at work on brand new cars (acura tech) so its not like this is the 1st kit I have installed.

Barely, its not going to stay like that obviously. You really can't notice it from the side unless you get very close, like in the picture.

Did you screw the lip on already ? I aint feeln the angle you lip gos up on... kinda makes the front of the car look like a big bird beak or something :P

vs

You might want- now this is just a suggestion, follow the line of the bumper. What I mean is the line under the headlight where the bumper meets with the fender and headlight- see how mine is parallel with the lip, and yours kinda runs like this / - well not that extreme but ya know what I mean.

I know what you mean, but I already put it on, I'm not going to make more holes now. It looks fine, you really have to be staring at it for awhile to see it slightly uneven. It happened like that I think because when I was screwing it into the fender, I put my foot under it and pushed up, too hard apparently and it looks slightly crooked now.
