Air Bag Light On

HI; Can anyone help me to get my air bag light to stop blinking, Here is what happened my driver side seat recline switch quit working so my local garage took out the seat and replaced the switch, it took about 45 minutes not a big deal, they did have to unplug the two connectors under the seat, and yes they did plug them back in all went well but my air bag light now keeps blinking and they do not know how to resett the code. It is a 2000 Maxima SE leather and heated seats with side air bags, any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank You KENNETHMD BY THE WAY THIS IS MY FIRST POST

Did they disconnect the battery before unplugging the seat belt pretensioner and SRS sensor? If they don't know how to reset the light, have them take it to the Nissan dealer at their expense and have it done with the Consult-II tool.

Try disconnecting the battery for about an hour. I know it works for clearing the "service engine soon" light, not sure about the airbag, but its simple and worth a try IMO.

Air Bag Light

No they did not disconnect the battery before they unpluged the seat connectors, but they tried disconnecting the battery after I told them about the light blinking on and off and staying that way, BTW they only disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes, that didn't work. any other suggestions, Please

I have the same problem. My mechanic told me to bring it to any place that use a comp to dinoise the problem. It cost about $80 and up, I just left it blinking cause it's not really a big deal.
