All 5spd owners - here's something posted by some guy on another Maxima board:

TSB #NTB 01-018 - I just received a phone call from my local Nissan dealer. He was just browsing the latest CD that he get's in every month and noticed something titled "2000/2001 on/off throttle response problem for 5-speed manual transmissions" (or something like that). It appears to address the fuel cut issue under 1800 RPM. It's an ECM reprogram that he said should take less than an hour.

Anyone hear anything about this???? Could it really be a 'fix' for the 5spd??

I know...

only what I have read. I called my dealer to find out if there is a TSB on this. Service manager said he'd check for me and get back to me. If get any more info. I'll post it.

Keep your fingers crossed that Nissan has finally decided to do something.
