Has anyone purchased the 5th Gen transponder keys off EBay and had them successfully cut/programmed by either a dealer or locksmith? Nissan charges $50 or so for the key and another $80 to cut/program it. If you bring them a key and they try but can't program it, you're still out the $80. So far I haven't found a locksmith that can program it.

 

Have anybody see those new Nissan key. They have chrome Nissan name on it. looks real nice. I wander can use those.

 

I bought a keyless entry unint and programmed it myself. Worked awesome.

I bought one off eBay for $20, had a locksmith cut it for $1, and then had the stealership program it for $48. Everything has worked fine. They have to reprogram all your keys when they program the new one. Good luck!
