Wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what this might be. first gear makes a clicking sound when engaged and second is starting to do it as well. The clutch whines when i'm coming to a stop and also when i have it depressed while it's sitting in 1st gear. Any ideas on what this might be are more than welcome. On a side note, the clutch does not slip at all, so that almost makes me think it's the tranny.
should i plan on a new clutch and lightened flywheel or what?

 

my clutch made a whirling sound when moving from a dead stop. dont know if you experienced that too but it was a bad throw out bearing

 

that involves replacing the whole clutch doesn't it? i really don't know as much as i'd like to about cars.
