ok im am getting a new set of rims (finally) but i want them to be flush w/the fender and side of the car, i need wheel spacers for that right? the rims are 19X8 and 35 mm offset. what kind off spacers do i get? where do i get them? and how much would they run me?
Thanx alot

with that size wheel and with that offset you wont need any spacers. the only thing you would possibly need spacers for, is for getting on the center cap of the wheels. just go with a 245 series tire and you will be set.

i believe 15mm should do it. i got 18x8 with 245/40/18
but after speaking to my mechanic .. he strongly disapproves of spacers more then 5 mm. ( from his experience he said he seen wheels falling off). i trusted his oppinion and i got 5mm just to clear the center cap of the rim... we'll see how it goes

I was running 19x8 with a 30mm rear offset and I think I could have still gone another few degrees. I'd say get a 10mm and drop the over all offset down to 20mm. That should look just right. Make sure you get H&R spacers and REPLACE THE STUDS!! I can't stress how crazy it is to drive with spacers and stock studs. Your wheels could just fall the hell off.

I'd like to get 5mm wheel spacers for the rear but I've noticed the right rear tire seems to rub a little bit if there is a big dip in the road. The left rear seems to be toe'd in a bit and does not rub. I dunno what to do

i'm goin with 1/2" which is about 13mm on my stock rims and 235 tires. In NY we wont pass inspection if it sticks out at all pass the fender, and since it might rub like above anyway it should work. Ebay of course, wheel-centric.

these are mm's not inches. Between 10,15,20 little diff. 20mm will make it flush with the rear well, but dude was talkin bout it hits on bumps sometimes. Here,

Its ur car, ur call. I think anything after 5mm u'll need longer bolts than stock, dont knw how much they'll run. Make sure there wheel centric, not those with studs comin out of em. My tire pro never mentioned anything about the wheel possibly coming off, maybe he didn't get the longer bolts.

I dunno about you guys, but I would do it right the first time.
I needed 5MM spacers for my BBK to get the rims to clear the caliper. Even with my 5MM spacers that are hubcentric I got new wheel studs with the kit H&R.
If you put spacers in, put new studs in. Period. Its not hard. Playing games with safety is stupid.
What I am worried about is wheel bearing wear though. Thats why I have not gotten any for the back. Id LOVE to get it close to flush...but not willing to give up replacing my bearings prematurely.

The best total offset for the rear is 25MM and the front 35 or perhaps down to 30, but much less than that is trouble. Of course this can vary some if you have gone a little extreme on your tire size

ok thats what im ganna do, the wheels are comming WED ill be away at school by then so im ganna come back on fri and hopefully get them put on on saturday. do u think ill have any issues w/the tires being so big? will the tires rub on the side of the front bumper? 245/40/19

WHOA! 40-profile 245's on 19's....I am thinking your speedo is gonna be WAY out of spec...your rims+tires are gonna be about 2" bigger in overall diameter than stock....I would think you would need like 20-25 profile tires for 19's, especially in that width..(but I may be wrong...)

I realize this post is semi-uselss without pics but if you're interested in a G.D., they will be lots less than $150 if I order 10 pieces -meaning five cars worth. You will not be disappointed....everyone who has seen my spacers drops their jaw...

pearl if your getting 19's with 40s....no drop your back is gonna fit with like an inch or less and the front will obviously be a little more. i have 235/30/19 and the back is kinda low without a drop....front will be fine though.
