replacing the bose head unit

i know this is the wrong section but NO ONE goes in the audio forum so here.. i hope it doesnt get moved

i think i found a head unit i like... what do you think guys? ::::

you'll need to add a PAC adaptor so that you can still use the Bose amp with your system. The HU is not like a regular headunit that you would find in cars without and external amp.

We are PAC dealers for all of their product.

im sorry i neglected to mention that i donot have the bose system... is there still an amplifier? what else to look out for? can i still use the steering wheel controls?

the name of the thread is "replacing the bose headunit" lol. If you do not have facotry Bose, then you do not need the adapter mentioned above. No, you're sterring wheel controls will not work, unless you buy a special thing for a hundred bucks that crutchfield offers, when you go to check out from crutchfield, they will let you know what accessories you need

If your new stereo has a remote then you can still keep the steering wheel controls. Use the PAC SWI-X. We sell it for $59 shipped, or you can pay $75+ for it at crutchfield.

well i dont plan to order the radio from crutchfield, i found it for $200 somewhere else... its listed at $300 on crutchfield... so coby expect to get a PM from me in the future... also, do you have the shelf that can go below the new HU i install?
