Murano windshield sprayers

I remember reading on the boards a while back that someone was attempting to put the Murano hardware into the 5th gen Max. I would love to know the outcome of that trial, and instructions on how to do it, if possible. Thanks...and sorry if this has been gone over repeatedly.

I don't like it. I purchased them and had to use a Dremel to make it fit but it doesn't look too good.

Now, I'm trying to purchase the orginals now which I'm looking around for them.

Maybe someone else did a better job than mine but they do spray better I have to say.

Jason, you are my mod "pimp" haha

yeah, you have to do a litte bit of cut/grind with the Dremel....you need a precise and steady hand if you're gonna make the cuts just right for fitament...but it's really not very hard to do....

yeah that's not gonna happen.....I'm like "why bother?"...I mean, I'm gonna drive into the mountains this winter too so it'll just get blasted again . Maybe if I lived in SoCal or something, but no point in new paint when I park in a crowded garage, parallel park at home, and always seem to end up behind dump trucks that are spilling gravel out the back......Besides, the HD/Ghetto mod king is working on a secret project to prevent the rocker panel sandblasting from happening again....heh heh heh....

Pro Drive mud flaps aren't ghetto at all. A set is like 200 bucks. It's for rally use btw.

yeah I know...I meant those would be "a little" ghetto on the max...but mine will be 'more ghetto'...I didn't mean ghetto in terms of cost, but in terms of being more of a home-depot/OEM part mod type thing...

what I always wonder is WHAT in the WORLD makes these things worth $250!!!>????!!
http://secure.cartsvr.net/catalogs/...&showprevnext=1

They better be made of titanium or have diamond studs for that much...I mean, they're just freakin mudflaps.....

maybe they add 20hp? That would be worth it

I've heard of paying top $$ for a "name brand" but $250 mudflaps

I know, but they can fit a Maxima with very little modification. BTW, my neighbor has them and they'll protect your car's body becvause of their size.

yeah, but I could have custom ones made for less $$ than that (not to mention I could probably fabricate them myself for much less)....I just need ones that protect my body on the occasional mountain road trip in the winter....don't need ones that will stand up to an off-road rally
