Service Engine Soon Light has erupted

Everything seems fine, except the MIL light lit up today. After reading the manual it says continue driving, if it doesnt go off then have it checked out. I made sure my gas cap was on tight and nothing is out of the ordinary. Any suggestions or comments, please.

I have read error codes for the SES light on previous posts and that people are getting it checked out at Autozone for free. There are no Autozone full service places by me, does the regular autozone store do it?

I've never heard of an Autozone "full service" place...
just ask your local autozone if they do it or not...

I called a pep boys and asked them to reset the ECU codes and they told me they had to do a $95 diagnostic because that's their policy. Needless to say I hung up on his ***.

I got my light reset at autozone once, a month later I had another problem and wanted my light reset again - no go this time! They told me it was illegal or some bs like that. So I went to another autozone in the area, and another one after that. Same answer everytime and could not reset my light. I ended up disconnecting my battery to get rid of the light.

why the hell would you reset the light without getting to know what the codes and problems are? Get the codes first and then reset them. Around here, autozone gives your OBD-2 scanners for rent. You just pay the full amount for that scanner and bring it back when you're done for a full refund. Ask at local store if they do it
