hotshot headers

well i got the headers in they didnt fit at all everything was an adjust ment and now that there in i had to cut and add pipeing to the y pipe to get it to fit. well now ive run into a new proplem just when i thought it was all over and finished the back header hits a mont that cannot be moved i think its the antiswaybar in the front its a mount holding it up in the front well when i accelarate and only when its in gear to i get a vibration raddling noise its really bad and annoying i wish i would have saved the money for cattman but i honestly didnt think this headers y pipe would be this off its terrible any suggestions on getting rid of this noise thanx

Damn, you shouldn't have bought the hotshot headers. Their new wave of headers is complete sh*t! You're not the only one who's having fitment issues. Hotshot has somehow totally screwed up the latest batch of headers. You should've gotten Cattman.

Wait...so the "new" batch is even worse than the previous ones? Wonderful news...

Precisely. Just stick to Cattman. They get nearly identical gains based on what everyone's said. The differences are apparently negligible.

man i hope they get rid of the fitment issues when i am ready to by headers cuase i really want a set of headers and i dont want to pay like 795 or something it would be cool if by that time obx came out with a hotshot or cattman knockoff like they did for the greddy catback that i got becuase it was so much cheaper and it would save me a lot of money and i would still get all that power and it will probably be full stainless like the catback but i wouldnt get the brand name recognition but i am not worried about that

I haven't seen any that were so bad that you actually had to cut. Did you take pictures of them?

Make sure you speak to someone at HS about this.

Wow. Sorry about the headers, but reading what has happened with you makes me feel better about the decision I made. I ordered Hotshots a couple weeks ago and didn't hear anything back from them. So a few days after the order I call them and they say they're fabricating another batch.

In the meantime, I had done more research on the org. Turns out CeasarsChariot had posted his Cattman sound clip and I thought it was unbelieveable. And I know he wouldn't put crap on his car.

Well after reading about all the fitment issues with Hotshots, hearing the Cattman sound clip, and actually being in contact with Brian Catts via e-mail I decided to buck up and spend the extra money. I canned my order for Hotshot and then received the Cattmans 3 days later.

They come with instructions, coating information, coating warranty, gaskets, bolts, etc. They look absolutely stunning.

I'm putting them on this weekend and hopefully all will go well.

Hope you have better luck with your headers in the coming days.
