Infiniti Front and Rear Seats for 2003 Max

Does anyone know if there are any Infiniti seats (mabye the I30 or I35) that are a direct fit for a 2003 Maxima? Has anyone done this yet?

I would think the I35 seats would fit right into the Maxima. I dont' see why it wouldn't. I already have custom leather, so I won't do it now, but it would be cool to swap in I35 rears since they haev actual adjustable headrests.

The G35's should as well. Didn't the 04-05 Maxima's have the option for rear bucket seats? Does anyone have a picture of them, and/or know if they would fit?

I35s should be a definite fit....G35...not so sure. The G35 sure seems narrower when I drive it versus my I35. Not to mention, the G35 rear seats recline.

Can anyone confirm for me that I35 seats are a direct bolt-on to 5.5gens?

If so, I will get my junkyard owner to look for a wrecked I35 for me to tear into. I already got the power rear sunshade mod, and want to add "Infiniti-stitched" front seats and rear heated seats w headrests.

Yes, I30 and I35's are basically the same as the 5th and 5.5 gens. I'm not sure of cutoff dates, but some I30/35 rear seats don't fold down and some do. I do plenty of junkyard scrounging, so I can confirm this. You can ask Doughboy about the cutoff dates or specifics.

I'm bumping this thread again wondering, has anyone successfully executed the rear electric seat heater mod in a 5.5 gen? If so, where did you mount the switches?

Has anyone also swapped the I35 armrest console assembly into their 5.5 gen? This is the nicer one with the more comfy armrest and woodgrain surfaces. It looks like it might fit, but you need the matching shifter bezel since it's squared-off at the bottom vs. our 5.5-gen rounded one.

For swapping I35 front seats into our Maximas, given that the side airbags are inside the seats, do you guys think plugging in I35 seats might trip off the Airbag dash light since it may not "recognize" the seat, or worse, may not deploy in the event of a collision?

Curious for any insights before I even consider adding other seats. Thx!

I35 seats are a direct fit in 5 and 5.5 gen. I've got I35 seats in my 5th gen. My 5th gen has front side airbags.
