TB cleaner...help!

just for the heck of it i bought TB and intake cleaner, can anybody give me pretty detailed instuctions on how to clean it? i aint too good engine engine parts/names. also i drove the car is 75 degree weather and no surging/lurching but feels underpowered at full throttle. Thanks

The one caution is with the position of the idle air bypass valve. If your idle air bypass is situated under the trottle body (unlike how it is shown in the illustrated procedure) then you will need to either remove the bypass valve or remove the entire trottle body to perform the cleaning.

The problem if you take neither of these precautions is that the cleaning fluid along with a fair amount of the gunk will flow down into the bypass valve. If not removed this will affect the operation of the idle air bypass valve.

While trottle body cleaning needs to be done from time to time this may not be the cause of your problem.
