ok you can flame me if you want to but i love the sound a blow off valve makes. I know our cars have no turbo, but isnt there pressure inside the intake that goes to the motor through the hose on the side, can we use that pressure to use some sort of valve to get that sound???

i know its a lame idea but just curious if it could be done.

well, they DO have some device that at a certain RPM, actually emits a BOV sound thru a speaker, lol, but i dont even think i need to comment on that.

on the accords, we had this thing called the helix power tower, basically a throttle body spacer, that produced that noise when revved. there was the noisy, original version that made the noise, and a newer quiet version that didnt. it DID actually add some HP, and wasnt totally useless, but still gives the false turbo impression.

 

Yeah I <3 the blow off valve sound too! Makes me jealous whenever I ride in my buddies rex!
