I heard people blew their MAFs with the Stillen intake which is about the same as JWT.

I've used this by having my Place Racing CAI's MAF adapter hooked up, a canister filter on that and the stock midpipe/resonator... it worked great, sounded quiet, dunno about blowing MAFs with it though (mine's a 2000, not a 2002 which are prone to MAF issues)

I've had a JWT with the stock peice for about a year, no probs.

People with stock airboxes blow MAFs too.. so it can probably happen no matter what you have.

JWT Pop Charger 2 1/2 yrs running no problem

This was the first mod from day one. I now have 75,000 miles on 2K2, no Maf issue here. I have read that the key here is to secure the intake and not let it bounce around. This may be the overall issue with Maf's; there sensitivity to being bumped around in the engine compartment and when cleaning, very oily filters.
