Hi,

This going to sound really weird but here it goes... My wife has an 02 Maxima and my friend and I replaced the all the speakers in it. When we did it , we put the tweeters on the covers opposite the mirrors are (since when laying new wire, it was a pain to get it through that plastic connectors piece in the door). Now I have a trim piece with empty tweeter covers. I was wondering if either the GXE model or the older 5th gens had a trim cover piece (the whole piece along the windshield) that had no cutouts for the tweeters? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Only cutouts nissan made for tweeters was in the A-Pillars.

 

Thanks for the reply! However I meant an A pillar trim piece without the tweeter cutout. Anyone?

 

All 5th gens have that lil coutout w/ a tweeter grill in the A-Pillar.

I personally upgraded my tweeters to 1" and hotglued them to the a-Pillar from the back. So when put back together it looks stock.

 

I say just leave it the way it is since it still looks stock.
