Man...wtf...is it ignition coils...
I've had the max for a few months now...definitely loving it...I'm sure not if there's something wrong...but I've noticed a few things...when I start the car...the needle dips to almost 500 rpms and bounces back...it sounds like it struggles a little but then it runs fine...also the engine seems to be pinging or rattling a little...I'm running exxon 93 and Mobil 1...I also did just do an amsoil Engine flush.
Another thing to know, when I was buying the car the dealer told me the check engine light came on...she said it was probably the coils but then she said there was no problem when she ran the diagnostics, which seems kind of fishy...is it my coils? Would the max throw the check engine light if my coils were faulty?? Also what exactly do the coils do? Also how do I know if my MAF is gone. Obtw, i'll be hitting 70k soon. Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions

bad coils will make the ses light come-in when one of them is totally nad. it could have been that the diagnostic did not suggest that. as for the maf, the same thing. try cleaning the maf bfr replacing it. you will have to replace the coils, if they have never been changed before...
