Is it true there is no manual ECU check, like the 4th gens have?
Everytime we get a ECU code, we have to take it to the dealer? Man if this is true it really sucks, what a way to have the avg. Do it yourselfer take it to the dealerm and pay for that service.

I tried looking for a "reset" thingy, but couldn't find one. So you got a code already?

Yeah my ECU light came on a few days ago. So now I need to check it, but there is no D-I-Y.
I guess I will have to take a little trip to the dealer, but that may be a bad thing.

Oh no... and you have the SC also. Do you or anyone you know have a scanner to grab the code? If you do, that'll save you $$$.

Good questions I could probably use one, but the thing is, do you know if the connections are different for the 5th gen, b/c I know a techtom will not work on the 5th gen b/c of different connecter than the 4th 98 and below years?
