Red bulbs really red

I bought some cheap red bulbs for the rear clear corners and for some reason(Cheap) one of them star to loose the red color. I bought a RED sharpie and and paint the bulb . Now the bulb shines more and it is red as in red. You guys might want to try it......

Yes, but the only problem with using sharpies is that the color starts fading after a while. Red becomes more orange, blue becomes purplish, etc. Make sure you put a few coats of it.

Red Polarg bulbs work best in the clear side markers. It doesn't give off that pinkish color like other ones do. It is very red when lit.

or get them from superbrightleds.com. leds are supposed to last 10,000 hrs which means i wont have to risk chipping the paint going to change a filament bulb.
