Suggestions - Front head lights stolen

So my front headlights got stolen for the first time this weekend, right in front of my apartment. Now that the thieves were successful once they will be back. I had the dealer put in their antitheft system. This consists of VIN etching and special "antitheft" brackets. The brackets do not make it any tougher to steal the lights and the thieves can still steal them in less than 5 minutes! All the brackets do is result in more damage to your car when the thief rips out the lights.

Does anyone have any suggestions to stop this from happening to me again?

Change your headlights to a different version or get a viper alarm system with motion sensors on the lights. Not much you can do.

I would recommend halogen headlights since if you put your HIDs again, they will most likely be stolen again.

That's the warning I posted in another thread. So, it looks like the problem has spread to the Boston area now.
