2k lemon?
1. Starter went out at 41k miles 250.00
2. Clogged catalyst converter at 61k 1100.00
3. Bad heater sensor at 62k miles 600.00
4. Engine light on again!! 63k miles
Anyone else had these types of problems? I am stating to think I have a lemon....

An I thought I had it bad. this is my first nissan and I guess I had higher expectations. My last car was a tacoma 4x4 and I beat the **** out of that truck for 125k miles and it still ran like a champion. I had to replace the starter at 100k. I guess I expected to get the reliabilty from my max... BTW - I am very nice to the max, never beat it up. oh well...

hey sooner just out of curiousity how did you know the power steering pump was bad what were the signs?
I don't think u have a lemon, it's just how it happens. Others have dealt with simiar issues, maybe improperly designed not a lemon.

The dealership ran a diagnostic and it came back that cylinder 2 misfired one time. They said I would have to replace the coil. How much should I expect the dealership to charge me for this one?
On a good note, they dealership said they would see if there is someway they could help me with cost. We will see...
Still love my Max...

If it hasn't had its coils replaced, it's gonna be hefty... typical stealership charge with labor is $600-something for all 6 coils.
I bought all 6 coils from DAVEB at South Point Nissan for ~$305 shipped I think, and did it myself.
If it has the original coils, then you should have all 6 replaced in the cheapest way you can, because they will all go bad eventually.
