Whats the best color for 2k3 Maxima?
I voted for Majestic blue. But honestly the top colors for a (A33) Maxima are Majestic Blue, One of the Silvers, Black and Pearl.
I personally would have gotten mine in Sheer Silver if it was available for '02. The Sterling Mist that I have is my least favorite of the three Silvers.
I wonder how the A33 would look in BMW Arktissilber or Carbon Black.

My first choice is... (See Below
) Although the polished Titanium looks nice and unique. Gray is nice and neutral... and Igor's car gives me a new love for sunlit sand. But a clean Black Maxima is the sexiest!

Majestic Blue... but I'm biased.
Although, I did find out a while ago that the rarest form of a 5.5th Gen Maxima is the Majestic Blue in a 6 speed. 5% of the 2002-2003 cars (100,000 per year) were manual transmissions. Out of those 10,000 manuals, there are 7 colors. Majestic Blue is the least produced color on the list. All of which makes the Majestic Blue 6 Speed the rarest of the 2002-2003 cars.
As for the 2000-2001, I believe that the light blue color (they kept changing the name) was the least produced color. 5% were also manuals as well (10,000 for 2000-2001). That being said, I'm not sure that it's the least produced color, but I have yet to see a light blue 2000-2001 5 speed anywhere.

Oh yeah, there's also black.
Maybe black would look good too.
Oh, and black is technically the presence of all primary colors. White is the absence of all primary colors.
well, im biased to grey lustre on black leather, cuz thats what i have been searching for forever and finally tracked down.
i do LOVE the merlot, and if i coulda found one with a black leather interior, i woulda jumped all over that. xplayboys is GORGEOUS.

I don't know why Hamy said that grey lustre is too common of a color. It is, but not on a Maxima. The only 5.5gen I've seen was the one I drove, a 2003 GLE. All the rest are 00/01. I like it because depending on the light, it can look anything from silverish to black.
And someone edit that poll and please add tungsten blue!!!

i agree moiselle, i have seen a TON of 00-01 gray lusters, but i have seen a good amount of gray 02-03s, but with frost interior or cloth interior, which isnt what i was goin for.
Not here, for some reason I don't see any grey lustres. 4 out of 5 5.5 gens I see are sterling mist. Grey is probably even rarer than majestic blue. And black leather seems to be impossibly hard to find on anything but black or silver exterior.

I guess, I just thought that the blonde doesn't exactly match the black steering wheel that the SE comes with, or the trim around the shifter and window controls. Yes, it's rare on Glacier Pearl, same goes for the leather. It's all good though, it's a Max, gotta love it

And this time my reasoning stands, because this thread was not a sticky or anything. Looks like GreekMaxima never got rid of his auto.
Anyway, since the thread is revived, might as well make the most of it. It's really hard for me to say which color is best. I used to love merlot, but now I like majestic blue more. But I also think black, polished titanium, and gray lustre are all beautiful colors. I like sterling mist, but given the option again, I would choose a color with a little more life.
One thing I don't get is people's obsession with white. What's so special about it? I'm sorry, but IMHO it's just plain and boring.
