I can't search, so sorry if this is old hat, but I'm new.

I just bought a 2000 SE Maxima. When I turn the key on, the Air Bag light doesn't stay on for the full 7 seconds that the owners manual says it will. It's more like 4 or 5 seconds. Does that indicate anything, or is that within acceptable variance?

Also, the ABS light is quicker than the manual says. The manual says 2 seconds, but mine stays on more like .5 seconds, maybe near a full second. My concern is the same as above. Does this indicate anything, or do my cars lights just go off quicker?

Other than that, I have no major concerns about the car. I've wanted one for years, and now that I have a child on the way, I had an excuse to trade for a sedan. yay! What a great car so far.

Probably doesn't mean anything. It when the lights stay ON that i'd be worried.
