01 Cruise problem

I bought my used 01 SE in June and I had it into the dealer for an oil change and to look at a problem with my cruise control. It would surge and not keep a constant speed. They said it was the cruise control and it would cost 400 bucks to fix it. I just saw there is TSB for it.

Can I take the bulletin to the dealer and what will they do?

thanks for any info

TSBs are only covered under the 3/36 warranty.
If your car is out of warranty, you can take them the TSB, but you will have to pay the labor and parts to have it performed on your vehicle.

I just had the cruise control box replaced on my 2K Max. The service guy was supprised it was covered under warranty. I bought my Max as Nissan Certified with 70000 Miles. Fixed the problem completely.

I will have to give it a try, my car is just under 36,000. I will have to take the TSB to them and see what they say.

thanks for the help
