Would that be

keep the car or the girl
Honestly not sure what you are asking. Are you asking whether to buy now or later or what "my" opinion would be of noticing a female driving a maxima. If you are driving a Max you will for sure get at least an additional look.....Once I give your car the once over....

I don't think anything of it, but if the Max was modded... then that would be something unique.

I think that would be cool....I have not seen too many girls driving 5th gen maximas at all....I usually notice Maximas, but if a girl was driving one, then all the better

Christina,

Do you own the Maxima now? If not, go ahead and get it!
Nothing beats driving Nissan's flagship...

(I do notice many more women driving I30's; but the Max is for me)

I've seen a lot of female drivers of the 5th generation Maxima GLEs lately. But when I see an SE, it usually ends up being a guy in there.

As for what I think about people when I see them in a Maxima...my thought is that most Maxima owners probably aren't enthusiasts, so they probably bought the Max for its quality, performance, and price. It's the better choice if comparing with an Accord, Camary, Taurus, or Intrigue, in my opinion.

The upcoming Altima sounds hot on paper, but I don't really know what it will look like beyond the drawings on www.freshalloy.com. It those pictures are a true representation of the actual car, then it'll make the owner very cool, girl or guy.

But if I saw a girl in a supped-up Maxima, that would be a different story! I'd probably think..."Where can I get one of those?" You decide if I mean the car or the girl! LOL

I like to see women driving Maxima's over an Altima. I think it presents them as being more classy.

My boyfriend has a 5spd max 2000 se and its fixed up-i love driving it when i can--(i make excuses just to drive it) i can finally trade my (2000 camry )car for anything (reasonable) im really pushing towards getting a (maybe 5spd) satin blue maxima and i even had the idea to go ahead and but satin blue leather seats but that would be lots of $$$$-But i was just wondering what everyone thought about a max owned by a girl

I think it's great to see girls drive Maxs. All the girls that I've talked to about the Max lately don't even differentiate between the Max, Accord, and the Camry. They're just all Japanese cars. All that matters to them it "How cute" a car is. To find a female Max enthusiast would be awesome.

Better yet, get her a SC for your anniversary. That's a present both of you (mostly you) can benefit from.

One thing I can tell you is that You would definately stand out from rest of the crowd, if you drive a maxima, especially if you're good looking...
One of my friends says his dream girl is a HOT girl w/ a big a$$ truck, I guess I could say that same about my "dream" girl w/ a nice maxima and I'd prefer her to have 97-99 body though, just like mine But on the other hand, I'd love to have a girl w/ a Beamer. EVEN HOTTER

I personally know a girl who owns a 2000SE (slender, blonde, gorgeous, smart) The funny thing is that describes most of the women I have seen driving 5th gens in the Atlanta area. Classy, great looking women who have taste...would it be immoral to clone them?

My wife drives a 2001 SE/AE and she loves the car. We went with the Darker Blue as it was only offered for this one model. Women can drive anything as long as they respect (care for and clean) their autos. She says I have trained her well, and she even gets up early on Saturdays to detail the car. If she's cute : I like
If she's cute + driving a Max : I like even more

It's funny you asked, cuz I was making eyes w/ a girls drivin a black Max and I could pass it off as if I was comparing the car (even though I wasn't).

P.S. The show's coming here soon guys (and girls) I'll post pics of the new Altima if it's worth taking pics of.

I'm equal ops. It's cool with me and it's their choice. I wish more women would join this site. Their opinions count too.
