Bad smell

Bad smell

Hi there. I have question recently when I accelerate harder it smells like rotten eggs. Has any body know what that can be?

rotten eggs is probably your catalytic converter. if you're stock and under 80k take it back to the dealer for replacement under warranty

another likely cause is the o2 sensor....

I had the same issue, and talked to DaveB about it and someone at Nissan, I guess this is normal for our cars. Nissan cars have one of the worst smelling catalytic converter, or something. I wouldn't worry about it though, and if you are worried, just take it to Nissan explain to them what is happening, and they'll probably tell you the same, have them note it down on file this way if you do pass 8/80 anytime soon they will have to replace the cat under warranty, but i really wouldn't worry about it.
