Well... I put em on.. took prolly a total of 8 hours including a trip to the store to get a breaker bar and replace my rachet. Thos bolts on the bottom of the struts are on tight and my craftsman ratchet decided it should just spin both ways.

Here's an installation tip for anyone doing it for the first time, losen the center nut on the front struts a tad before removing them from the car. Otherwise I dunno how you'll get them off.

I wish the eibach instructions on bump stop cutting were a little more precise.

Anyone who complains about rattles definately shouldn't get eibachs.. eheh thump thump over every bump.

Lastly I yanked off my addco RSB as it was making thunking sounds over almost every bump. Does anyone with the Eibach/Stillen RSB get a thunking noise?

Were you able to find any reason why the Addco RSB was making the thunking noise?

Couldn't find any reason at all. I read a thread a while back about moving the brackets on the axel more towards the center but I ran out of interest in making it work.

I ordered my RSB from Cattman (got a good deal). They said that it shipped out Friday.

I am also going to install a set of Koni's when I rip the car apart. Hmmm....I wonder if I install the RSB after I put the springs/shocks in would fix the problem.

Here's a hint/suggestion... if anyone is looking for aftermarket struts for their car, buy a set of Koni's and see if the experiment will work.

So do you think it'll work? I know if it'll work or not, but I want someone to confirm my finding.

I have no idea if it will work. Koni said "I'm sorry but we are currently not offering anything for the current Maxima. Thanks for writing." I just want to know before I go dumping money into it.

Well, take my hint/suggestion and try to install the 4th gen Koni's on your car. Here's another hint... you won't regret the outcome.

you get thumps?

B/c I had the Eibach Pro-kit install in my sister 98 v6 accord and it rode ALMOST the same as stock. It was just a little bumpier. my sister couldn't tell the difference, but i could.

My grandma likes the accord w/ prokit better than my integra. She says the ride is to hard in that integra comparing to her 2k Mercedes S500...lol

There was a group deal going for Koni's a few weeks ago (http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....5&pagenumber=1).
Cattman's website says that he has them for $495.
