Irish, and only Irish,

You win, and I accept defeat. Are you happy now?

For all others (and boys who have butt_buddies, mainly Wheelman and Max in action)

Let me just explain a little bit....

First off, I was just having some fun, when I first posted in this thread. Secondly I said flame away. Not call me an A-Hole, which that bi@tch Wheelman did. So that woke-up some monsters within me. It was meant to be a fun discussion, and it turned sour.

I was getting tired of posting about coils, throttle body, and type of bulbs. So i thought, I would start something.

Now Irish, you know you have done that in the past. But you weren't called an A-Hole.

I like my halogen light. Yes i have to get it out of the trunk, but i can see better under the hood. How much coverage does a flash light have?

Okay, So i was wrong about the baseball bat. But, if I am going to fight someone, I am not going to sit in the car like a duck. Outside of the car, swinging the T-Bat will be fine.

After this thread, I actually went outside, with all the monsters in the dark, and changed the tire...

So stop PMS'ing.

It's saturday night. Level is on the drink menu. She got washed and waxed. I am going out...

I think *maybe* just maybe this is getting blown a little out of proportion considering the subject du jour is a freakin flashlight......

what say we get back to something we can all agree on, like making fun of this guy's car:

ha, you pull a shiny object the size of a maglight out from your side while getting stopped at night by a flopper, and i guarantee thet you will not like the outcome one bit.

That car is so hideous that I had to save it to my hard drive (under a folder called 'r1c3 b0yzZz!!1' because, well that's the gayest thing I could think up )

And as far as the flashlight goes...
One of the first things I noticed was that there was no good place to slip one under the seat, so I might have to try this mod out on my bone stock max

yes, that heinous maxima has been discussed/ridiculed in many a thread here over the last year or so....I find it's a great thing to use to change the subject/lighten up the discussion when people are getting too serious or pissed off!

Does drilling into the floor of the car lead to potential rusting?

Not at all. The holes actually decrease air resitance and gives you more umph. About 5-10 HP difference.

You can't hate on this.

I dont see why everyone hates on this guy, that is by far one of the nicest 5th gen maxima's I have ever seen. So much work and money and time went into that, and people who criticize it are just simply jealous. OK, I cant even BS anymore that car makes me want to !!!

no one one kicks the maglight getting or or out. WHat if the seat is quite close up, my wife is barely 5 ft tall. Will the seat knock it out of the holder?

if you really want to get technical. A mod is anything you do to your car (modification) that changes it from its factory condition. No, it may not be the biggest mod or expensive but it is still a mod and one that I personally think is a good idea to have. Just my .02

I always say "if it ain't stock, it's a mod"

pens in your armrest isn't a mod. Now, if you bolted a pen-holder to your dashboard.......

Anyhow, I'm clear out of suspension mods to do (poly bushings will finish it), and more engine mods are waiting until the end of warranty.

Not all of us have a second car we can tear apart, so sometimes we have to be happy with the little things.....

this threads kinda funny. When I was reading it I didnt pay any attention to the dates and thought all this took place recently. I was like I have seen many posts from Irish and Zippin and this doesnt sound like something they would arguee about. I was just laughing though. Good to see that this was in the past!

Those old GT6's are no joke.. They handle like a dream. The GT6 was basically like a "British Datsun 240z" at the time.

the only issue with maglights is that when you beat someone to death with them, the filiment usually breaks leaving you and your bloody victim in the dark...

give me a few years....I'll bring it out west and give your CRX a run for the money.... 170hp/1750lbs - and that's if I keep the stock engine (which is FAR from stock). My other GT6 has no engine/drivetrain and might get dropped on top of an impreza 2.5 AWD engine/drivetrain that also happens to be available to me.....

then we can talk about mods...

Just remember, the GT6 was created specifically as a road-racing variant of the 4-cylinder spitfire. Lost the convertible top, gained 2 cylinders. Won basically everything until the Z came out....

independent rear suspension with transverse leaf spring.....no rear suspension can touch it.

oh...and chicks dig it more than a maxima or a yellow CRX
