Removing the projectors...

Well...at first I thought it was some sort of weird aim issue. But after fellow ORGer (PacketAttack) and I did some more tests...we realized that the driver's side projector is out of whack. It doesn't seem to be installed properly, so light that comes from it is almost nill...even though you can see it clearly illuminated. The hi-beam is also whacked. It hesitates to switch. Meanwhile the passenger side projector seems to be ok, even though the light coming from it is dimmer than it should be.

From start to finish, these projectors have sucked. The installation was not plug and play. The turn signal bulbs wouldn't fit the turn signal holes on the projectors, and the sockets holding the bulbs were too big. My experience with these projectors has been sh*t to say the least. Also, they have lousy fitment; they don't curve with the bumper at all. They make the car look great, but they suck when it comes to functionality.

Oh, and the angel eyes are total a*s biscuits.

Don't buy. That goes for everyone. They suck. My frigin fog lights were putting out brighter light than the projectors. The stockers are going back in, I'm going to track down a pair of eyelids, slap them on, and throw in some bi-xenon HIDs in there and call it a day.

Let me know how much it costs for parts and install.

GOldMax: Thanks, dude.

Jesse: They're beautiful. I know. They do look great. But I'm going to wait for Umnitza's HID Projectors; which will rock these like no tomorrow.

They're gone. I took them out myself and put the originals back in. My first solo job on the car. :P

Anybody wanna' buy these things from me for $90 + shipping? They don't work very well, but if anybody wants them for experimental purposes, they can have them.

Sorry, missed your post. Umnitza is currently the maker of the DDEs (aka Devil Eyes) for the 2002/2003 Maximas. And at the moment, they are developing HID projector headlights -- as opposed to a standard projector that these pieces of sh*t were. No word on a release date, but last Umnitza said was 3 months I think.

i wanted to get the projector lights, but now that i here they suck forget about it. right now i have a 10000k HID kit installed it looks great, just lose my high beam. i may get bi-xenon in several months. But i do recommend HID's they look awesome, it ran me about 330 dollars, the only thing is that i had to cut the wires, because the plug that comes with the kit is incompatible with the harness

Hmm...I'm getting Bi-xenon very soon. I'm gonna' have to make sure I don't have to do any wire cutting with these.

Well, in Queens that's just asking for some **** action. Haha, I'm getting eyelids for the aggressive look and topping it off with a bi-xenon kit.
