Service Engine Soon, Code P141
Service Engine Soon, Code P141
Here's my story, I have a 2k Max. SE and got a SES light last week, I went to my Nissan Dealer to have it checked and they gave me the following code : P141.
The man told me it was an oxygen sensor on the rear part of the exhaust system, he told me that the part was worth $108 + $99 of labour.
What I want to know is : Would anyone be able to give me a part number for that (I'm trying to find the sensor for a cheaper price), and did anyone ever have this problem and fixed it yourself ?
Thanks.

call a different dealer to get part number or check with Dave Burnette here on the board, he works for a Nissan dealer in TX and would be able to give you the org price on the sensor.
Yep I had that problem back in March. Definitely an oxygen sensor. I had to replace two quickly in order to get my emissions to pass.
I had the codes PO138,139 and 141. I don't have my receipt handy, but I work at a Toyota Dealer an was able to get the shop discount for all of my parts. Those sensors were around $70 each but retail around $110 here in Atlanta. If I can Locate the receipt I'll post it for you! Good Luck...
