Basically i called up my wholesaler for some struts for my max and he said that his latest book only goes up to 01 maxima and i just wanted to match up the part numbers to make sure im getting the right thing for my 02.

all 5th gen maximas have the same suspension. I remember I had to confirm this before buying what they called "01 struts". I don't know the part number off the top of my head, but I did confirm that they are the same.

 

He's right...00-03 fronts are the same. Rears are the same from I believe 95-03.
