does any one know if headers for an 01 maxima will pass va state emissions...

 

as long as you keep or have the main cat intact, you should be fine. ive got headers so no precats but main cat is still there. im in nc but my time is not til the end of october. a local 2k2 passed charlotte, nc emissions with headers and main cat.

 

where did you perchase your headers from...

 

 

i went with hotshot headers from southwest autoworks.

 

I don't have headers just yet, but I've read from other threads that you just have to go into the emissions test with your engine at normal driving temperature and NOT cold, so that the main cat has already had time to warm up and work fully.... I hope I put that right...
