I got a new clutch this week. Feels good. Best part is that there is no more whining noise because the bearings were replaced. After 100K miles, the ***** were all chipped and nasty.

Question 1: How do you "break-in" a new clutch? And for how long?

Question 2: What kind of effects does a new clutch have on a car other than shifting (i.e. performance, fuel economy, etc.)

breaking in.....drive calmly for about 500 miles. as in don't peel out. just try to shift smoothly. in other words, be nice.
