Probably just a motor with some gunk in it that could use some cleaning and a little oil.

not the motor....
here's what you do:
1. spray silicone or lithium grease in the track (both sides of the window)
2. clean the inside edges (the kind of "fuzzy" side of the rubber seals at the bottom of the window (I find that using carb cleaner to do this will remove ALOT of gunk that accumulates there)...
3. use silicone detailer on the outside of the rubber seals to keep them pliable and so they won't dry out and become stiff.

I do these 3 things every 3 months. I just did it yesterday...my driver's window was getting REAL slow. Now it's fast as hell!

Sure, your motor could be going bad I guess....but do the 3 steps above and see if that fixes the problem before you go taking apart electrical components...

Hey Irish....to do the track should you have the window up or down? ALso where do you spray exactly? Need to have the door panel off to do this?

window down....obviously can't spray the track if there's a window rolled up in it

if you buy silicone spray at an auto parts store it should come with a little straw-looking thing you stick on the nozzle so you can direct the spray more precisely...just spray a bunch of it in the track...it comes out in liquid-ish form so it will flow down the track. then just roll the window up and down a few times to spread it around....the next day the window should go up/dn smooth and fast (if you do the other things I listed too....) once the silicone "dries" a little and is stuck to the track.

it'll wear off eventually, so I'd suggest to just give it a spray every so often.....

I have the same problem. Its mad slow. All the other windows roll up faster than the passenger. I'll try out Irish44's suggestion. Anything to get this thing working faster.
