I've been using PIAAs for years and I had 1 bulb burn out. Others had their bulbs burn out within few months.

I like Silverstars for 2 reasons over the PIAA.
1. They are cheaper
2. If you blow one, you can just go to any local auto parts store and get another...not have to order one or go to an overpriced ricer import shop...

ZIP-I am the master of painting lights and bulbs
....turn signals (f/r)
....key ring light
....stereo/cliimate control
....smoked side markers....

it's not the bulb, it's what you do with it

I tried some silverstars in my high beams and they suck...Look the same as my stock ones did. I just put PIAA extreme whites in and they look good, brighter and HID looking. I also have PIAA extreme whites in my fogs....

I have PIAA Extreme Whites, H-3, in for fog lights and while this isn't what you are asking the color temperature and brightness are better than generic BS, but they are no pure white, nor close too. If you are looking for that color, Extreme Whites/Plasma's are your best bet.

ya they got a blueish hue to them. It's an interesting look. I have piaas HW for fogs, front turn signals, then polarg for everything else. They to me are the same.

haha...good one, I tried the silverstars and loved the white bright light output but it sucks in the rain. Right now I have sylvania xtravisions which puts a little bit more luminace out on the road, but I would love to find some phillips vision plus bulbs which is suppose to give out 50% more luminace.

he didnt replace any bulbs...just a sharpie. he can tell you who showed him how

its all about coloring bulbs..painted all four blinkers (silver coat so you cant see orange when they are off), side marker bulbs (true red and amber) , key ring, climate, radio, and clock, map lights (blue)

is that more then irish (josh) did?
if so....IM THE MASTER

They have them there, in a twin pack. They're much cheaper than PIAA, and even Silverstars for that matter. We would get the H4s right? Would those match up perfectly, even though they have a metal harness connector?

If that's an affirmative, I'm going to get them immediately and probably the H3 AllWeather/WeatherVision for my fogs.

So are you saying they are false in their claim... "Whitest. Brightest. Sharpest."?

I have piaa extreme whites on my fogs, hids, and piaa on those little lights above hids, looks hot plus piaa's for side markers. COPS SUCK always breakin my ballz over the clear rear and fronts, i thought smokeing out those lights is illegal which they are illegal if there white to....

To me my PIAA fogs weren't worth the money. I don't know if I'm just used to the white or not, but they aren't that bright. Silverstars are way cheaper and produce a really close amount of light compared to the PIAAs.

Silverstars

I've had the silverstars for almost a year and I've been happy with them. If I could fiqure out how to post a pic I'd attach one showing the difference between the stock bulb and the silverstars. Its quite convincing.

I'm telling you guys, Silverstars are the way to go if you want decent price and easy access. But for the most light, Phillips Vision Plus provide the most light for aftermarket halogen upgrades. I'm definitely going to get some once my Silverstars blow, if that ever happens.
