Help! problem with window control switch

I have a 2001 maxima, and I think for some reason Nissan always changes the colours of their wiring systems

Basically the problem is like this, my front passenger window was not working from the front right control, but it would work from the driver door control. So I decided to check the switch on the passenger side control. Took the switch out, and all the wires came out of the switch and I have no idea which order they were in.
I’m hoping someone either knows the order or will be willing to look at their car and take a picture or write down the colours of the wires in each position.

Please write the colours in each of the positions as shown

1 2 3
4 5 6 7 8

As far as I can remember, nothing is in the 1 position, and 2 and 3 are the small wires probably for illuminating the led.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

I am sorry, but I can't help you. However, I'd like to comment that I have the same exact problem. My front passenger window only works part of the time from that switch but all of the time from the driver's switch.

Same Problem Here!

I am having the same problem, am able to control the front pax window from driver side control but not from pax side control. Just went out to the garage and did a few checks and came to a preliminary conclusion that the problem is in the switch itself and not in the wiring harness on the pax side door. At the beginning of my check the window would roll down (albeit slowly) but not roll up when operated from pax side, then after a couple of cycles it would not move at all, but always worked fine from driver side. I am going to go through the wiring diagram now and see if I can figure it out. If I have to pull the switch out and fix it I will. And I'll let you all know what transpires.

Fixed the Problem!

After doing a few tests I concluded without a doubt that the switch was the problem. I then took the switch out and took it apart, from here on I had many problems but I can tell you there are two ball bearing in there under pressure by two springs and when you take it apart it is not designed to put back together. Anyway, the problem was simply dirty contacts resulting in little or know current flow and the only way to fix it is to replace the switch, or clean the contacts and put it back together like I did. A little magic is required to get it back together, and I had to try several times before I got it, also lost a ball bearing and had to find another one the same size from my shop, luckily I did have one! Putting the switch back together is very difficult, but if some of you want to try it you can PM me and I'll try to explain how to do it. Regarding the guy who had all the wires fall out, after seeing the plug that plugs into the switch I am amazed that this could happen. The wires connect as follows:
On the side with the release clip is for the LED wires #6 is at the edge and is color RED/WHITE #7 is RED/YELLOW
On the side opposite the release clip is first #4 at the edge (adjacent #6) and is color RED/BLACK next #1 BLUE next #3 RED/WHITE (thick wire) next #2 GREEN and last #5 WHITE/BLUE

Hope this helps,
Cheers Dannodotcom
