rear windows?????????????

Is there any way to get the rear windows to go down all the way instead of just half way. My windows are tinted pretty dark and it would be nice if there was a way to get them go down all the way or even a few more inches. Any help of feedback would be appreciated.

the rear door has to fit the rear wheel well, so functionally there's not enough room to have the window go all the way down.

What they said....

Now how does having your rear windows tinted necessitate needing the windows to go lower? When they're down they are below shoulder height, I can't think what you'd really be missing .

you could have looked at the car before you asked the question. you would see that it is impossible..where would it go?
and why did you need to use 13 question marks in the subject? we could have gotten that it was a question with just one.

Why do you even want your back windows to go down? I had a friend of mine disconnect my rear windows because 1. Rarly anyone sits back there 2. If anyone does I am taking them home and they don't need to unroll the window....so I think that it is pointless to even have them roll down.

Rule 1: when people are giving someone a hard time for asking a "not-so-bright" question, do NOT take the attention away from that person by admitting that you have
actually DONE something galactically stupid.

Sometimes to the untrained eye, the obvious answer is missed. Hell, for the longest time I couldn't figure out why the rear windows didn't go down all the way. Took me a while to finally LOOK at the car and slap my forehead. So come on guys, cut us 'newbies' a little slack.

If you lock the windows from the front you can't unroll passenger side window so a theres that problem....and how is it stupid by taking the power supply away from the back windows? It is nice not having to worry about rolling up my back windows so....I guess we are not seeing eye to eye on this....clue me in.....

So who are you driving around in your back seat that shouldn't be allowed to roll down the windows? I'm sure most people on here would agree that disconnecting the power is pretty dumb. How hard is it to roll up power windows if someone happens to roll them down? And I don't think you'll see eye to eye with anyone on this.

get an alarm with windows modules. When I hear my car lock, I know my windows went up, it's real nice not having to sit there waiting for them to go up with your key still in the ignition or hoping no one opens a door before all the windows have gone up (delayed accessory power). , but I think that and/or the driver's side window lock would solve your problem.

i can't believe we're having a discussion on the pros and cons of cutting the power
source to your rear windows. if you really think this is a good idea, PLEASE do not breed.

Yes you can. Get a saw, cut the bottom of the door, then proceed to open a crevice in your fender. Once you've done this, roll the windows down. Once they stop, hammer the suckers until they are all the way down. At this point you have a few options:

1. Pray they don't touch the rear wheels and crack to pieces
2. Pray someone doesn't open the door.

Or you could simply stay home and regret ever making this thread.

i'd like to apologize for ragging on mass media. i shouldn't have been so rude.
the next time i read a post about the most insanely stupid thing anyone could ever
do to a car, i will keep the fact that i am amazed at how retarded some ideas are to myself.

This is the thread that doesn't end. Some people started reading it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue to reading it it because this is the thread that doesn't end...

p.s. At work and don't feel like doing anything so I post stupid crap like this to make the day go by.
